I love animals, but I also like to collect pictures of roadkill.
the few who know this about me sometimes send photos of dead animals they spot and i add it to my collection. my favourite up till now was a little black kitten with its eyeballs out almost longer than its body length. this is my new favourite. There’s more to discover every time I see this photo blown up on my screen. its teeth, the pads of its paws, the cracked ribs, bed of blonde fur. I don’t know why no one cleared this dog out of the way, but if they had I wouldn’t have noticed it at this stage. The most heartbreaking part of this photo is probably its collar.
