(Also, to keep the language constant, it’s Hades and Persephone (Greek), or Pluto and Proserpina (Latin, what I think was used on the work).) 

I swear I walked around this piece like a goldfish in a bowl when I was in the Borghese. Every angle is perfect.

OMG the detail.

I am always amazed by this sculpture. Some artists call Bernini’s craftsmanship as “raping the marble”.
